Chainsaw allowed?
What are your thoughts? My cousin is in the process of planning his own pro yard haunt display at home for next year. He will act as Leatherface, like in the movie "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" you know? So what do you think guys and gals?

I dont think you or your relatives should be allowed to handle sharp or power-driven tools....

Someone in our neighborhood used to chase TOTers with a chainsaw, and they regularly use them in the Parks & Rec Haunted Hayride. Obviously, a person has to figure out how to use something that looks dangerous, but isn't. I don't know how they rig them.

Well, I'm not really a fan of the crazy with a chainsaw, but anyone who actually goes to the trouble of haunting their yard gets my stamp of approval. Proceed with the chaos, iHaunt

I agree, it's the Yard Haunting that counts.

I would only use real chainsaw if you have not been drinking or using drug.

Re: Chainsaw allowed?
You realize, of course, that "blanks" are not all that safe. If a person is close enough to them, they can kill. There was a young actor back in the '80s (John Eric Hexum, something like that) who killed himself with a blank pistol. He was goofing around on the set I think, and held it up to his head and shot. It killed him.
My husband was in the military at the time, and he and all the other young military officers just shook their heads. They knew that blanks weren't safe, but I don't think that young actor did.

I think the chainsaw would safer than a blanks gun. Use the Stihlâ„¢ brand saw for best results.
