This year Peter Steel will spend Halloween in Heaven. This noted "Dark Duke" of moody melancholic metal headed the epic band Type O Negative. Some will call him a bastard, some a hero of self expression. I just think he was bad <deleted> with a big strange heart. The music he and the boys (Josh Silver, Johnny Kelly ,Kenny Hickey) made was special to me in so many ways. Millions of great memories scored with their songs fill my mind. All this said I'll use this particular soap-box to say " Thanks, Pete. It may seem ironic, but in your way you made the world brighter for dark people."

If anyone has any T>O>N stories to share, or just fond memories of times listening I'd love to hear 'em.
