I had a good one all around. I didn't make the costume party, but the rest was good.
I hope all of you had a great Halloween!

Re: Another Halloween Gone...
My wife waited until the 30th to get into the season, we hit party city and spirit today and she picked out half the stuff....she said she was planning for next year, so hopefully we'll have an even better next year.

I would love to get out and get some stuff on sale. I might commandeer my brother to go for me. hehe

Re: Another Halloween Gone...
Mine sucked. The car broke down and I live in the middle of nowhere. So I tried trick or treating at the neighbors houses. Only one person had candy. No one else expected anybody for Halloween. I had a UNICEF box. I got quite a bit of dough. One person had a whole paper coffee cup of pennies, nickels, and dimes! I was glad about that. But I still missed real trick or treating! And candy! And this was the year I had my best costume!
Oh well. I am lucky I never missed trick or treating in my life when I was younger.

Re: Another Halloween Gone...
I had a good Halloween, but now comes the post season blues.
The build up is always the best part, anyway.
I haven't taken my decorations down yet. That comes tomorrow.
I'm already missing the season, though.
It always seems to come and go like a bolt of lightning.
I bet November (usually the dreariest month) drags on forever.

You put it well, Samhain. That it's over like a bolt of lightning.
The only month I really hate is February, when I just can't stand one more minute of cold and gray. But I love winter.

any have any plans yet for next year? i do
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

Re: Another Halloween Gone...
.
Aliens are a big part of Halloween. Starting tomorrow night, I'm gonna watch the new V
mini-series, then on the 5th finish things off by watching 'V for Vengeance' in celebration of
Guy Fawkes Day. Maybe start a bonfire in my living room? I guess you can say I got a V
thing going on.

That new V does sound good. I think I missed the first episode already, though.
