I am a Dj and I have a client that wants a video or random/ scary but non gorey video. He wants it to be an hour or so if possible. He said he is looking for something the Haunted Houses have playing when you come to them. If anyone can point me in the right direction or let me know if there is a video I can buy will be most appreicaited !!! :)

He is looking for a montage or some sort like several random clips of stuff to just play throughout the night, but wants it to be an hour long.

There's a lot of old public domain horror movies at the Internet Archive:
http://www.archive.org/details/SciFi_Horror

One would have to edit through them to pick out the horror scenes, but they're free and there's nearly 200 movies to choose from. I don't think one would be able to find an hour long montage on it's own.

.
I used to have the very thing but I apparently have lost it. Probably the last time my drive crashed. It was a 3 hour movie with scenes from a lot of scary movies all edited together. I would loop it and project it upon a scrim. Was definitely the hit of our parties but haven't used it the last few years. I'll look on my backup drives and see if I have a copy. I sure hope I do!

Night of the living Dead is public domain, and easy to find. If you only needed audio I'd suggest RueMorgueRadio.com. They play clips from movies, horror related music, and interviews with people in the genre. The shows are only an hour long, but you can download from the archive for free.
Oh...you might check at your local Walgreens. They often have Old horror movies on DVD for a dollar. They come in cheap little cases and are usually old (and little heard of) public domain movies.

Thanks for the link. I forget that they have some cool stuff in there.

It wasn't on my backup drives. I emailed my friend to see if she still has a copy of it. Haven't heard back yet. I definitely don't have time to create another one.

And careful with that L word. May give other people here some funny ideas
Unless you're a chick, then it's OK.

Obviously we never found the video. Looks like I'll have to make a new one. Fortunately I
just found this cool little program. Let's you snip scenes out of a DVD without ripping the
whole movie. That'll save a lot of time. There are also a lot of good clips on YouTube that
can be inserted into a compliation.

You could use the whole Twilight movie for that...no gore, no violence really at all. The Vampires 'sparkle' in the sunlight...total chick flick really. Sorry, just thought with the title of this thread it matched what I saw in Twilight.
