Thriller on halloween

guys, I have a feeling thriller is going to be played over much especially on the radio and since halloween is on a saturday night. some people will probably get sick of hearing it after playing it all day on the radio stations. I wouldn't blame them at all. let's hope they use it and play it well on limited terms. what do you guys think?

if they over play it only a 10th as much as they've over played his death then i'll just be sticking to my c.d.s that night!! i'm so sick of seeing and hearing about it lol no one cared utnil he died.. then he became an icon and a great marketing strategy.. "lets pray on the people who just need something to look up to... they weren't fans... but they'll buy these cheaply made cheesy t-shirts" LMAO...

There really isn't a lot of real Halloween music, so it's sure to get a lot of play. Monster Mash tends to get the most. There is a lot of heavy metal music that's played as Halloween music, although it's not suitable for many stations playlists (and it isn't exactly Halloween music). Thriller was a pop song so it makes for easier play.

i say stations should play stuff with halloween words in it.. songs like "Witchy Woman" "the One Eyed One Horned Flying Purple Peaple Eater" hahaha

They play up every famous persons' deaths till you have to resort to no tv or radio for a few days to let it all die back down!

I do like the old Thriller video, but I've never been a fan of his.

Last night, they played the first Halloween music I've heard yet this year. Alot of oldies like you were mentioning and scary instrumentals. Nice way to spend a late Sunday night!

The TV Guide Channel has turned into the Michael Jackson Memorial Channel if you care to take a look.

As far as Thriller goes well, it is appropriate for the holiday.

lol. i have seen those stuff at the mall and its everywhere apparently.

The only thing I liked about Thriller was the video and more important was Vincent Price's 'rap' in the middle. He made it spooky.
