Halloween!

I was sitting waiting for the brief with my Photography class thinking it would be boring, like usual. When I was given the paper the first thought that came to my mind was: "Epic Win."

My brief is:

You have been commissioned by your local newspaper to produce a series of photographs that illustrate the theme of Halloween.
The newspaper is looking for at least four images that show a broad representation of the theme from events, people and places.
Research- look at the style of photography in your local newspaper.

Extension- Produce a series of photographic images for an article on Halloween to be published in the GUARDIAN newspaper entitled 'Consumerisim or Celebration?'
Research- look at the style of photography in the GUARDIAN newspaper.

Bear in mind, I'm not actually working for a newspaper it's just a scenario made up by my photography teacher.

I'll probably head out to town later on in the week and get some photographs of all the decorated shops.

What a fun assignment! It's rare to see school assignments based on holidays these days, especially in high school (which I'm guessing your in high school, Ghoul). Certainly sounds better than the old "crusty" teachers I had when I was school . Enjoy the assignment and I'm sure you'll ace it.

That is awesome! I remember hating my photography class because I remember I had such lame assignments. People didn't even like my photographs. They always had to be in black and white too. Bleh.
I would've loved a fun assignment like that. I had the same issue with my ceramics class. It was so stupid. I was hoping we would do this thing where we pour the clay into a mold and make a Christmas tree into it...but the teacher wanted us to make things that...didn't look like anything. And they all had to be vessels of some sort. Borring!
