Those were interesting articles. Though I've known about Esther for many years, I didn't know that Purim was the "Jewish Halloween" until just a few years ago. It is interesting to read about how globalization is changing it in Israel. I can sympathize with that father's misgivings about the sexualizing of young girls' costumes.
