I'm usualy on the road at 6:15 to 6:30 am, and the outside temp depends on the season. With it only being the 10th of October, we already had about 3 days that were below freezing. The temps in the day time are pretty nice. Today we only got into the low 50s, but that's okay motorcycle weather. I make very few trips to work on the bike in October and none in November through February, however, becasue the weather is just too volital.
This year, I was riding to work as early as March, though, and I even had to run my air conditioner on St. Patricks Day because it got into the 80s. I wouldn't mind that happening again.

I am actually hoping we have a winter this year. I missed winter last year.

According to the Weather Channel, We're supposed to have a much colder then normal Winter this season, but nothing was said about snow. However, we are in a drought right now, and rainfall does tend to average itself out over the year, so this could be a banner year for snow fall.

While it is cool here, it is warm inside here. My thermostat never goes above 60. It has been too windy and I would rather be warm and be able to breath. If I open the windows, my allergies flare up and then I can't breath.

Well, Andy, there is something to be said for a crisp Automn day in October, but I love to ride so much, and I don't like to have to wear gloves.

We're supposed to be no warmer then the 50s all through the weekend, and there was even talk of a slight chance of SNOW fluries Sunday night. GIVE ME A BREAK! It isn't even Halloween yet.

Yeah... it's cooling off just in time for the start of fire season. All kinds of red flag warnings around here.

I don't know how much riding I'm going to be doing this weekend, but I am definately going to have a fire in my fire place, especialy if it's as cold as they say it's going to be tomorrow night.

Its been getting cool and windy once the sun goes down here. It was cold enough to get the deer moving this weekend and I was able to get some venison on Sunday morning for the freezer.
