The more the merrier.
Besides, if I ate all that I cooked I'd weigh 400 lbs.
Its how I pass the time between jobs.
Tonight it was cheddar bacon braats with good old baked beans!

Looks great!
Not sure how much celebrating I'm going to do today, but I do intend to reread some of our founding documents. Have a blessed Fourth!

*sigh* I wish people would read them at least once in their lives.
God bless America to you as well.

Currently eating sunflower seeds and drinking nut brown ale from Alesmith Brewery. Nice balanced diet.

I have a copy hanging in my hallway, along with the Constitution and Bill of Rights. Even went so far as to add a postit note to the BoR, says "28: Right to privacy and control over one's own personal information", relating to this the Snowden age.
Edit: just tried walking in to look at them but it's beyond the reach of my bluetooth. Have my noise cancelling headphones on because the Mexicans next door are having a very loud party.

You're really streaming Alex Jones...

The other white meat.
Actually a delightful mahogany, after reducing a butter & blackberry sauce, then simmering the chops in it.

Looks great, as always!
We had a welcome home cookout for my older son , who just returned from Europe after dodging the various terrorist attacks over there. We had "Alabama grilled chicken" ( an indirectly grilled chicken with a mayo/horse radish sauce), grilled corn on the cob, and something called a 'Maine blueberry grunt" ( a sort of stove top cobbler with drop biscuits over blueberry filling). It was quite good!

Curried carrot and coconut pureed soup.
I haven't pureed it yet, I tasted it and I like the chunks of carrot.
I'm conflicted about this because I stick to the recipe when I make something new!

I often retain chunks in my recipes because I like the texture, too. However, if you pureed it, it was probably creamier and thicker, which is also nice.

I did puree it and yup, it's very hearty.

Looks scrumptious!
I'm having coffee and a couple of pieces of white mountain bread, buttered and heated in the microwave.

My boring breakfast is usually cheerios with banana sliced and coffee.

I eat a lot of cheerios & other cold cereals with bananas and/or berries during the warmer months. When it's cold I opt for oatmeal.

Yes to oatmeal...or Cream of Wheat.
