I had trouble with 1408 because I really, really can't take the deaths of children in movies. But I also thought John Cusack was phenomenal in it. He had to do so much acting just by himself, reacting, I suppose, to special effects that were put in later.
Airplane is a classic "low" comedy, I guess you'd say (that's English major speak, not a put-down of the genre, which has its place and has been around forever). I enjoy it, too.
Oh, I'm not watching anything right now, but a day or so ago I watched the old Bette Davis movie, All This and Heaven, Too. Not sure why I like that thing as much as I do. (It does have a scene set at Halloween.)

Yes, the child deaths were a bit difficult but on the whole a great movie.
John Cusack is very underrated, IMO.
I saw that Bette Davis flick just the other day too, I just love that one.

I just finished watching Vacancy. Very creepy movie! Suspenseful, too. Very worth a watch.

Moonlight, the complete TV series on DVD. Loved that show. Wish they hadn't cancelled it.

Watched Ghost Hunters and then Paranormal Witness last night...Paranormal Witness was creeping me out. Scary stuff cause it is based on real events...
