Wow, Murfreesboro! That is great!! 28 years.
My hubby doesn't just tolerate, but supports my Halloween obsession. My birthday is in October, so he shops at Halloween Express for my gift! I think that is a key to any relationship. Not only tolerance, but encouragement.
He even puts the kiddos to bed on Wed. nights so I can be free for Ghost Hunters!
B.T.W. you wouldn't be in Murfreesboro, TN. would you? I am outside Knoxville. Just wondering.

Yup, Murfreesboro, TN, right outside Nashville. Same state, different time zone.
Spooky, I love your Valentine's tradition of the teddy bears! Very sweet.

Well, I only got one valentine from my oldest niece, but I made out like a bandit with the overtime I worked last Sunday.

Christmas wasn't even over and I started seeing Valintine's day stuff on the shelves. Not to mention, a few easter treats.
I don't go all out in decorating for Valintine's, though I may put a few hearts up again this year.
Last year my boyfriend did something really cool, he brought me home a heart shaped pizza. Yum!

I got him some Valentine's candy. Bon Appetitto!

I notice the same thing. About 3 days after last Christmas, the local Dollar Store was putting out Valentiens Day merchandise out on the shelvs. It seems they are in some kind of a rush to get through the year.

Here we are again Valentine's day is coming up in 2015. Eventually I'll put out a few Valentine's day plushies, but decorating for the most part will be simple.
No idea what we'll be doing for Valentine's day this year. Last year in 2014, I got a really cool Katana from my boyfriend with Tiger Stripes on the sheath. I plan to hang it up on the wall next to some of my Tiger and other cat stuff. (And yes, I do like my swords and blades and stuff. I guess I'm a bit tomboyish. lol They are for display only of course.)

Valentine's Day is no biggie at our house, but if a person enjoys having something to celebrate during the winter doldrums, go for it!

Depends on what he likes. If he's into sports I am sure you can find a wide variety of "sports" valentine's hearts, or think about what kinds of candy he might like. If he's not into sweet treats, does he like things like jerky or slim jims? Is he a video game kind of guy? And you can never go wrong with gift cards either. There's always the option of making him something homemade too, like a nice homemade dinner from scratch, perhaps serving up his favorite meal on that day, or making some delicious chocolate heart-shaped cake.
Congratulations on that milestone Witchy! That's really amazing.

Thanks Mau!!
He like the Blues hockey game but has everything they have out, just about, he's trying to loss weight and said no candy, he's not into video games. He doesn't make this easy by any means, last year I made Choc. covered strawberries and bought him beer and a Blues hat, ugh I hate not knowing what to do.
