lol I understand that feeling.
We had Hot Dogs this evening. But not any ordinary Hot Dogs. These are Boar's Head Beef real casing Frankfurter Hot Dogs. Really good stuff! I wish there was more in the package! I knew they had to be good for the price. $6.99 for a package of 6. But they were worth it! Boar's Head makes some dang good meat that's for sure!

Yes, Boar's Head is beyond my pocket book, but it is fun to splurge sometimes!

It is! Sometimes you just gotta get something good for once.
I just had some donuts and coffee. I'm looking forward to having cider with my donuts. I think that might be a local New York tradition though. ^^; Or even a family one. But I could have sworn we had some when I was really little and went to Dansville school before my parents divorced. I think it's a tradition on both sides of my family though. So I'm thinking it is a local tradition.

I like it when the casing gets crisp on the grill.
It's 93 outside so I cranked up the a/c and just made stuffing with day-old foccacia bread.
I can't wait 'til it cools!

I'm not eating, I'm drinking. One of my favorite beers. The peanut butter stout from Belching Beaver. This stuff is so thick I'm practically chewing it though. I just found out the Costcos here have the 22 oz bottles for $5.56. Doesn't taste quite as good as straight from the tap but at least I can leave it in the fridge longer. Now, I wish someone would come up with a grape jelly beer.
I'm still bummed we can't get Pumking out here. Checked BevMo the other day, Shipyard Pumpkinhead should be in any day now. My second favorite pumpkin beer.

That sounds delicious Murf! I could go for a cinnamon roll!
Last night I had some boxes of rice in the cubboard, so we got some chicken and I put some herbs and spices on it and cooked it on the George foreman grill. Had corn as well. The chicken turned out great!

After watching this video I couldn't resist heading down the hill and getting a 3x3 animal style and a chocolate shake. Yummy!

That does look good, but I just came from our annual Thanksgiving pot-luck at church. Right now I feel as if I might not eat again until Thursday. . . .

I had slow braised chuck, roasted with caramelized onions, steamed cauliflower with a Vidalia onion sauce and baked sweet potato.
Earlier we went shopping for 'the big day'.
$560 for 10 people, not including $300 (don't ask) for the fresh killed turkey that will be delivered on Tuesday.
My friends have champagne taste on a ...champagne budget.

I just finished the last of the roast and some country potatoes from breakfast.
Some food tastes better when it sits overnight.
