mine was really comfy, I dont know if real ones are, I dont recall seeing a mattress in them, I have read that on the spring "bed" they have a liquid absorbing "pad" in them, probably not very comfy, but when I get one (if I dont build one) I'll let you know

I was telling my wife it would be funny to take a friend that passed out at your house and put them in the casket then lock the lid, maybe toss in a flashlight and some dirt and put the casket somewhere where it's really quiet and let them wake up in there.....
