I've found my Halloween Town house...(okay, so it's in the country, let's say it's outside of town...)

I'd want every door and staircase to let out a slow creak everytime they were touched. Only natural light allowed, candles, dimly lit lanterns, torches. You can't walk down the coffin shaped brick streets without someTHING jumping out at you from behind every dead rosebush or towering leaveless tree. Every indoor surface is inexplicably covered with a thin layer of dust and cobwebs. Your costume isn't a costume at all, but who you REALLY are.

Yes, I'm in full on Halloween mode now

Instead of a dial-tone when you pick up the phone you hear rapid whispering that makes no sense.

The phones are old Victorian crank-style ones, of course.
