How About all white then cover it with gauze for a ghostly look.

I saw a black Christmas tree in this store at the beach. I am wondering if I can spray paint one black. I put up a Halloween tree each year, but it is green. I am going to try it. I am going to use a glossy black paint.

A white tree would look cool with black and orange. If it were me, I would use black leaves, flowers. I would cover it with webbing and spiders with a touch of orange or purple here and there, and put a witches hat on the top.

Be sure to post pix!

Since I can't find anything in stores yet, I went to Amazon and ordered this from Dept56.
The branch tips have tiny LED lights on them and they twinkle randomly with variable speed.
This one is orange and should be here by Friday!!
They make a purple one as well.

These people have no on line store yet, but I went to this place last March and they have black xmas trees, in fact they have xmas trees in just about any color you can imagine. Give them a call!

I went to Michael's again, and there were boxes and packing material all over the place because...THEY'RE PUTTING OUT HALLOWEEN STUFF TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A-hem, pardon me. I bought a bag full of goodies and a new Lemax house.

The photo is <deleted> because I took it with my phone (you know what? 100 years ago, if you said that, you'd be locked up.)

The people raking leaves were separate but I had to get them because the pile of burning leaves is battery operated, the light flickers!

You aren't seeing things, the house in the photo is just the box. I didn't want to unpack it at work but I wanted to show you guys.

They gave me a coupon for 50% any one regularly priced item so I'm going to get Peter's Pumpkin Patch to go with the house.

Great village. I want to start getting out my stuff. I make myself wait until September.

There is a great online place called Grandin Road. Google it. The have a section called Halloween Haven. Beautiful stuff. Some (most) is quite $$$, but they have really nice stuff! I have my eye on a thing or 2 for my October birthday.

Grandin road has a lot a very upscale holiday stuff, but you're right about the prices.

I've never had all of my stuff up at the same time. I usually just have one building and a few figurines out each year.

What I plan on doing is getting a nice display cabinet so I can have all of it out, all year long.

I had a customer who displayed them all year round. She told me she had her husband build shelves along their living room and bedroom walls. As of last December she had 54 houses.

Be careful Andy.

Somewhere in here a mod by the name of Jadewik posted a pic from her old kitchen. She & her hubby had a shelf high up on the wall, like an old fashioned plate rail, that had a nice little cemetery scene. So cute and homey. :)
