That show never interested me. If I wanted to hear a bunch of Manhattan-ites whine and moan about themselves I'd hang out in our legal department more often.

Yeah, but it's sort of like the Bible or The Godfather.... If you never experience it, it leaves a gaping hole in your understanding of American cultural evolution.

A show about nothing, not such a gaping hole.

A descriptive which is but a single example of the thousands of concepts, phrases, and expressions that American pop culture has both wittingly and unwittingly adopted as a result of the show.

Yada yada yada...

Not that there's anything wrong with...Seinfeld.

Seinfeld is like Sarah Palin; just going out into the world and living your life you will hear quotes attributed to her that eventually get hammered into your brain through repetition that you are then stuck with for the rest of your life.

Technically you aren't really Jewish unless your mother was, matriarchal religion, so you have nothing to fear in professing a dislike of Mia's Ex.

It is both a religion, Judaism, and an ethnicity, Jewish. The religion is passed on matriarchialy, but the ethnicity is all about the blood. Haven't you ever met a secular Jew?
