Have you guys ever read 'The Dark Knight Returns'? There are rumors the new movie will be based on it. An older Batman returns from retirement to clean up a particularly nasty gang. The government, concerned that he's taking matters into his own hands sends in their lackey Superman to put him down. Epic battle ensues. This seems a possible scenario seeing as how the last Batman movie ended, but this being primarily a Man of Steel sequel they'll probably focus on Supes more.

well that answered my question on whose sequel it was. I think that would make a great story line. but if they're setting up for a justice league movie then out with an old batman

And would you believe there are two petitions, one at the White House website and the other at the change dot org site. Both are asking the president to remove Affleck from the film. Is this really the most pressing issue? It kinda explains why this country is in the condition it is now...

Not to mention--how would the President have the authority to interfere with the casting of a film?
