Thank you!! :)

Oh yeah Barnabas is the best in my opinion. I watch those on dvd and I get that melancholy feeling from him.
I also like that he was a Shakespearian actor. It definitely brought style to that role.

.
Is Canada more associated with the US or England? Mark Mardell thinks the British make
better vampires but Jonathan Frid was born in Canada.

I think Canada is part of America so we get to claim Barnabus.

I agree that Johnithan Frid is a very good actor, and the role of vampire Barnabas Collins suited him well, but whether Canada is more British or American, would depend on the individual Canadian IMHO. There are also a lot of French speaking people in Canada, so there's a very strong French sub culture there, and there's no denying a British sub culture also exists there. Also, one has to look at the United States. The 13 original colonies were English colonies, and a lot of our "American" food entres, like "good old American apple pie," were actualy British. The celebration of Thanksgiving was brought from England by the pilgrims, and a lot of our military protocols are based on British ones.

Probably still Bela Lugosi...perfect accent and look for the time and the character. They were a perfect marriage. Modern Era Vampire would be either Frank Langella or Kiefer Sutherland in Lost Boys.

i agree with midnite
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

I started watching 'Dracula's Guest' last night. The dude who plays Drac is downright
spooky. The movie is on Hulu.

Hahaha! I'm just not a Brad Pitt fan. ;)
This is Stuart Townsend from Queen of the Damned.
