Simply wonderful Spookyboo. I love poems that work in odd words like "moldy" and make it work. The best pieces are always "off" in a way you know?
And now...

Come here now people
Come around and see
He’s jumped the train
For eternity
No more words
No more rhymes
The death bell rings
Sadly it chimes
Eyes of green
Have lost their light
Skies of gray
Rain down tonight
Too much emotion
The heart’s only so strong
Comets burn bright
But never for long
In a season
That knows only change
Come now and see the last
Of Doctor Strange

Dr Strange,
One great thing about poetry. It's always better to write it than to do it.

That's an image I could have done without.

Indeed - I hadn't thought the worst, but I was worried about how low you were getting and I was worried that perhaps you were leaving the forum
And that just wouldn't do!

I am sitting here staring
at this blank screen
trying to come up with
a poem for Halloween
No words are forming
no rhymes come to mind
totally blanking
no muse can I find
It seems I need the challenge
of a missing friend
I had so hoped this thread
would not come to an end

Halloween Dare

There once was a boy named O'Hare
Who was given a Halloween dare.
He certainly ate
All the bugs on the plate,
But they ate him right back; so unfair!

There once was a thread
filled with spark and fun
It lasted for awhile
but now it lays undone
Gone is the laughter
and crazy antics to
It just isnt the same
without you know who
This is my ode to a missing poet
sometimes sad and blue
his poems had a way of
speaking like no others could hope to do
