Halloween Discussion Forums, Costumes, Horror!

Somebody told me this TRT movie is very good, and it's very Halloweeny movie! Well, can't wait to see it when it comes out to DVD!

Again, I already added it to my Netflix online, and I hope to see it this October!

I've talked to some people who have seen it and they tell me it's great. Some of them like it as much as John Carpenters Halloween. If it's that good, we should all be very happy this October.

Yeah, I hope to hear some eerie, scream and thunder sounds from this film in October!!!

All I hope for is a good movie that is based on the holiday of Halloween.
There are plenty of good horror movies to watch on Oct 31 and the weeks leading up to it, but outside of the films featuring Michael Myers, few are set on the actual holiday. Trick or Treat has been held back for so long now that I was starting to give up hope of it ever being released legitimately.

At the Fangoria weekend in NYC, Trick R Treat director Michael Dougherty asked fans like us to do all we can to help promote the film during a panel discussion. So please do all you can, because the current trend in Hollywood is to continue with remakes, not to make original fan-flicks like this. So, it's all up to us!!!

For a straight to DVD flick, I think this movie is gonna be huge. The fine folks at Bloody Disgusting, Dread Central, and Fangoria are certainly giving it plenty of praise and attention.

Yeah, I just hope I can get a DVD copy in time for Halloween!!!

How is it that I just now heard about this movie? Great Ghouls! I just watched the trailer and all I have to say is this: Wow. That looks great, terrifying, absolutely unabashedly Halloween-y! I have literally been unable to stop smiling for the past three minutes, this movie looks so good.
And I suppose I'm sort of lucky. All you guys, it seems, have been waiting for this for two years or so. I hear about it just now, and I've only got 90-or-so days until it's released.
Anyway, I haven't been this excited for a movie since...well, I can't even remember being so excited.

Also, I went to Blockbuster Video store and saw "Friday The 13th" DVD with a sticker on it, saying Trick 'r Treat will come to DVD this fall.

From what I heard that it will be hitting stores on October 27th supposedly.... this is not confiremed though... I dunno.
