That's kind of a neat resource to know about.

I was up late last night and couldn't get to sleep.

So I decided to watch the Halloween DVD set for the TV series Psych that was on USA for eight years. If you never saw any episodes, the show revolves around a guy named Shawn Spencer and his best friend Burton Guster.

They are private detectives and Shawn pretends he is a psychic, but he's not. He's simply super observant after being trained by his father who was a real good cop. The show is a comedy and will crack you up guaranteed.

They came out with a Halloween DVD package that has a spoof on Friday the 13th, they call it Tuesday the 17th. They did a spoof on a modern Dracula called: This Episodes Sucks. They did a spoof of the Mummy called: Shawn (and Guss) of the Dead. Get the idea??!!

I laughed so hard I woke my wife and still had trouble going to sleep. If you like safe and harmless off the wall type comedy...with LOTS AND LOTS of references to the 1980's, you will love Psych.

I never heard of that series, but I bet we would enjoy those episodes.

Get TV is airing cool movies today.

I watched The Seventh Voyage of Sinbad, right now its Jason & the Argonauts, and the original Blob is on next.

It's called Psych-O-Ween. I should have it by Tuesday.

I'm sure you'll like the shows. I bought all 8 seasons of the series. There's actually a couple more scary episodes that weren't part of the Psycho-ween package. The other episode of the psychoween package I didn't put in my original post is their version of the Shining.

Oh well, looks like I'm watching Real Genius (1985). Good movie but I was hoping for something spooky.

Real Genius is classic, and very necessary for the Val Kilmer library. The kid who played the genius, was later in Apollo 13. I took my wife to see Apollo 13, and when I saw the kid, now he's a man, I started yelling, hey he was in Real Genius!

The TV show Psych takes place today, but the show is loaded with references to 1980s TV and film. They talk a lot about Val Kilmer, and in one episode they're watching Real Genius. The very last episode even has a cameo by Val. They were big on Billy Zane too, and had him in an episode.

Having Kristy Swanson in 'this episode sucks' was great casting.
