it would be a hoot....... If iHaunt is deaf, how can he hear people trespassing at the cemetery at night?

He might be deaf, but he can see okay. With a powerful enough flash light, he can probably keep a good eye on things. Most security guards also do a lot of walking and petrolling. So I don't think it's all dependent on being able to hear.

Yes, I am deaf and I can't hear... but, I do have good eyes.
I am always with my partner at the cemetery all the time.
We carry pepper spray, handcuffs, flashlight and taser gun.

I do walk with my partner around the cemetery to check everything out. See if no one is getting into the cemetery, make sure there is no one sleeping there maybe vandalism, etc. I don't see anything like that ever night, but if I do then me and my partner will ask them to leave, or we can report to the police. Also, if there is someone threatening me with knife, stick, you know? I have to take out pepper spray or taser gun so if someone is using a real gun then we have to backoff. My partner has cell phone to call the cop when that person is leaving the cemetery. Well., nothing happened there when I was working.
