Hey Mac and Ciuin, I just picked up a couple of these balsa wood coffins at Micheal's. They might be useful for something. The bigger one has a doohicky in it that talks when you open it. That one is $2.99. The smaller one is 99¢. Those 20% off coupons are easy to find. Cheap enough you could even use them to put the invitations in?
Edit: Oh yeah, they're about 5" long, not full size. Unfortunately.

Congratulations, Mac & Ciuin! On both the wedding and your little one!
Not sure which direction you all want to go in, whether all-out macabre & jokey, or tasteful with a touch of eerie. Those black roses someone mentioned, all the pumpkin centerpieces filled with autumn flowers--those could be worked into a fairly elegant presentation, I think. I also am a big fan of Day of the Dead stuff. I think it can be amazingly beautiful. Themes of witchcraft and magic in the air can also be romantic.

Thanks,
Witchy! I actually thought about you as I was typing that.
I think if it were my wedding, I'd want the ceremony itself to be beautiful, and maybe save some of the more amusing stuff for the reception.

Thank you Murf, I agree totally with you!!
I went to one Halloween them wedding 2 years ago, it was amazing, the bride had a white dress with purple and black streamers on the dress, the guys had black tux's and purple vests and white Victorian shirts, the reception had pumpkins with purple plumes and fall colored flowers all around the hall, on the tables they had bleeding scull candles, it was all very tastefully done.

That does sound classy. Of course it depends what Mac & Cuin want. Do you want in your face Halloween through the whole ceremony and reception, elegant reception with hints of Halloween(coloring ect) and more Halloween in the reception? Whatever it is I'm sure the folks here can help you do plan we just need a direction.

Huh?
Or use my approach and throw a bunch of stuff at them, see what sticks. I really like the idea of them streaming it, or at least posting a video. I want to see if Mac passes out at the alter.

Well in the meantime that works Nevermore but if we had more of an idea of what they want we could concentrate our efforts on that. Though I agree we should definitely get to see some video.
