69 degrees?? That's down right cool. At any rate, there is supposed to be some relief from the heat on Saturda. It's supposed to be in the high 80s on Saturday, and 82 on Monday, so I'm looking forward to that.
Also, I am a little closer to having a plan for a "Haunted road trip" at the end of the month to the Mayfield Sanatorium in Louisville Kentucky.

Last Saturday was the hottest I've ever seen it. 111 degrees, and that was NOT the heat index. That was the actual temperature. Then on Sunday everything went down to normal. It was actualy in the lower 60s when I got up this morning.
I hope we stay in that pattern for the rest of the Summer.

111 is pretty hot but since summers in North Texas are always brutal, the heat has yet to get my attention. I'm sure Jade (she's in AZ, right?) is looking at all of this and thinking, "Really? For serious? I live in the desert, this is nothing!"

I bet ilovemichaelmyers is having a grand ole time, living in Vegas. From what I read the heat wave is heading this way. And where's Murfreesboro? She's usually a prolific poster. Hope she didn't melt.

It's 100 today. Looks like it's going to stay that way for a while. Not unusual.

We finaly got a little relief from the heat wave, and I am hoping against all hopes that it doesn't come back, especialy when I go on vacation. I didn't even ride the Harley during the day time during those 100 plus degree days. I waited until after sun set when the tamps were a lot more pleasant.

We're in the mid 90's, by Monday 98 or 99 degrees, UGH!!!!!!!!

We're supposed to get up to 95 today. It's pretty hot, but nothing like the heat we've been having lately. It's supposed to be 97 tomorrow, so I may take the car to work.

We actualy got down to 75 last night, but it's supposed to be 97 today, so I drove the car to work today.
It's supposed to cool off just on time for the weekend AND the beginning of my vacation! WOOHOO!!!!

Chang, I don't have any particular place that I allways go to on vacation. I go where ever the mood moves me. This year I am going to check out a couple of haunted places in Minnesota. This is mainly going to be a "haunted road trip," because it's been a while, and I would like to update my creepy photo porfolio.
