Actually one doubt for me? you can celebrate this Halloween with different colors and scary dresses where you get these fantastic dresses?
The below dresses were made for me by my costumer. I gave her the idea and character.

The top dress was for the Charley's Aunt character from the play of the same name.
Here is me among several famous actors dressed as Charley's Aunt.

I changed and added accessories with the dress to becomme an elderly grandmother. Top right picture.

The bottom right was based on the character from Janet Munsil's play The Ugly Duchess and the part was played by her husband.

The bottom left was supposedly to be Charley's Aunt but was turned into a middle aged auntee!

If you are handy with a needle, the sewing stores, where they have pattern books available for browsing, are a good place to look. Those pattern books always have a section on costumes. Several years ago, when I was still making costumes for my kids, I recall seeing Medieval costumes, space aliens, the Wizard of Oz, Robin Hood and Maid Marion, Southern belle gowns--you get the idea. Three I actually made were a Crusader Knight, a Ninja, and a Hershey's Kiss. There were patterns for both adults and children.
If you don't sew yourself and are willing to pay for it, you can hire a seamstress to make a costume. Or you can browse the thrift stores and see what inspires you.

Quote: Where Can I choose different halloween dresses?
Various locations.
First choose your character: That is important!
Then you can determine your costume.
You can have costumes made, buy off the internet, or put together from thrift stores.
I had the Charley's Aunt, Duchess and Grande Aunt made by my costumer. With the economy like it is, I doubt if I will have any costume made for a long, long time. Use what I have.
These are the dresses I had made for me.

The quality of the costumes purchased off the internet are not the best, don't really hold up, but for a cheap purchase they most of the time will work up. I bought this Mother Superior costume off of the internet.

Going to thrift stores can be good but you have to find your size in what you are looking for.
Here are The Bag Lady, Miss Fifi leFleur and two Martha Stewarts all from thrift stores. Martha is the pictures on the right.

More Martha Stewart from thrift shops.
