Well, I have been living, breathing, eating and sleeping Halloween since, well, since last Halloween!
The summer seems to be dragging! Roll on the Fall! I can hardly wait!

Some times I do get a little antsy for the Halloween season, but I also love to ride my motorcycle, and I also love to barbecue, and I am planning a real treat for myself on my Birthday this year, so as much as I enjoy Halloween and Fall, I still plan to have plenty of Summer time fun. A vacation, a couple of days at the beach, and a Birthday barbecue.

Right about now is when I start looking forward to Fall and Halloween. We have had an unusually cool summer so far, with about three days over 100 and the last week actually feeling like summer. It seems to me that the heat and humidity just take so much of my energy!
What helps me get into the mood or to start thinking about the upcoming season is to pull out my punkin jammies and blanket, light some incense, and throw in a good horror movie.

For me it doesn't have to be Halloween in order to enjoy a good horror movie. I'm up for a horror movie any time of the year. I watch more of then during the Halloween season, though. I usualy bet bitten by the Halloween bug around the end of August. That's when some of the stores start putting out the Halloween merchandise.

Me too! I've been contemplating baking a batch of pumpkin spice cupcakes. It's just so hot that I don't really want to turn on the oven!

I almost never use the oven during the Summer months, but desert items, as far as I know, just won't work on the barbecue.
If I do get a hankering for something sweet and freshly baked, I use my electric roaster, a.k.a a Nesco.
