I wonder why nobody ever argues about who was the best Superman........??

I think there are more arguments about why Batman is better than Superman. Not that there is any real argument there. But people need to entertain themselves.

No question it is Batman...he's not the boy scout and is a bad boy.

Nah, Batman is an orphan with mommy & daddy issues.

Although Superman went the other direction and tends to overcompensate for his parents death.

Yeah, but Batman takes no <deleted> from the bad guys...he kicks their butts and doesn't apologize for it. He puts fear in them...

I just like him better because he's human and the story lines are (though very far from reality) slightly more believable than Superman's.

Bingo!! That's what makes him more appealing I guess...he's just a regular guy who has to use his brain, wits, super sleuthing and obviously his body to defeat the bad guys...with a lot of sweet toys.

I like the notion that he is slightly psychotic as well...the duality of his persona and the conflict. It creates a lot of deeper and twisted story lines for him. Far from reality? Yes...but still believable enough to be interesting and entertained.

Yeah, he's a good guy with a tendency for horrible violence.

Yes he is...which I think a lot of us can relate to, but we forgo the violence...he does not.
