Funny scary at my home!

I am fortunate enough to live only 18 miles from a densely populated area, but once at the house it's like being in isolation.

The only bummer: no pizza delivery!

I live 7 miles outside of Madison, WI. It is rural enough but I still get delivery of Pizza from two different companies. I am close to 4 Walmarts...Madison has a huge university and very diverse population and 4 lakes in and around it...lots of recreation and business too but it is a great place to be.

I checked that out, there are some scary people there, I don't shop there anymore. I went there in 2006 for Black Friday to buy a computer and had to fight off some guy who was trying to take the comp from me! He walked away empty handed and I came home with a new computer for $199. I don't shop there anymore because their prices aren't that good and their customer service sucks.

There are so many people here, you just never know which one is gonna be a nut. There are alot of shootings, burglaries, robberies, you name it, it is here. Thank goodness we live away from all that, we are almost to Arizona so there's not that much crime over here.

I am convinced that customer service depends on the location, our walmart is fine, no problems at all, there is a tranny that works there but I dont usually go in when he's there (night), but they are all pretty nice.....I lived in So Cal and Az and the people in both locations are pretty rude in general, act rude, drive rude, etc., in Utah people are very nice, drive nice, act nice, Here in Texas most people are nice, most customer service is good and most drivers arent butt-wipes.....

Agree with Spooky...Midwest people in general are pretty relaxed and laid back. Customer Service at every walmart around here and other parts of the state is always good and folks always willing to help and answer your questions.

There are tons of butt-wipes here that's why I hate it, you have to be a butt-wipe yourself to keep from getting stepped on. There are lots os scamming going on here too, they will rip you off without blinking an eye. I have to be very careful and aware when I go to someone's home because I'm vulnerable when I'm in their territory. I carry pepper spray and a screwdriver in my pocket, I would have no hesitation to mess someone up if they tried anything funny. I don't want to have to do that but I have to until we get away from here.
