Thanks for the info about Big Lots. I'm sure they all do things a little differently, but not that much. Late July to early August is about right.
They do put out harvest stuff first, though. It usually look more appropriate for Thanksgiving than Halloween.

I recently purchased The History Channels documentary, "The Haunted History of Halloween" just to scratch the itch. I already have so much Halloween stuff that I can't even us it all, but that doesn't stop me from spending a bundle on new stuff every season.

I've been wanting to see that. Usually I enjoy watching different shows on the Travel Channel that's Halloween-related. Last year I saw one that focused just on Halloween attractions, including pumpkin-chuckin' and I think the world's biggest Halloween store that's open year-round. ^_^

Oh, and here's the stores I've found with Halloween/fall stuff out already:
Dollar Tree.
Joann's Fabrics.
Hallmark.
Rite Aid.

And according to my mom, she saw stuff at Walmart. I didn't see any at the one I went to, but I haven't been to the one that she saw stuff in yet.

Lately I've been as sick as a dog, but I'm a little better today. I also have a ton of work piled up that I have to finish before I can go home tonight so th is will probably be my last posting for a little while.

I'm not sure when they put the stuff up in the one I was at. I went this past Monday to pick up my antibiotic when I saw some of the stuff. Mostly fall-themed stuff more than Halloween, but still. I'll check the one by my boyfriend's house this weekend to see if that one has anything.

Ok, I talked to a lady who is the manager of the Party City about Halloween stuffs, and she told me they will be out here in August.

And also, I do have Halloween Planet stores here... one is called The Halloween Express.

The Dollar Tree has their Fall harvest stuff out now. There was a wreath that looked very Halloweenish and I almost bought it.

My local Michael's has a pretty good start, I went to the A C Moore last weekend - they left me very disappointed

absolutely NOTHING.... luckily - I have started on some projects that I already had the supplies for - but these stores need to get up to speed

Good to hear that the Dollar Tree has some stuff out. I have tomorrow off, so I will most likely stop just to see. Would be nice to find some stuff.

I went to Dollar Tree today and there wasn't anything Halloween yet. I also went to Target and Shopko and there was nothing. I was hoping to see something today. Oh well.

Dollar Tree, Wal-Mart, Michael's, etc. - they won't put up everything until the mid-September.

But Party City will put up everything in the end of August!
