Why not set up some flying ghosts? If you have a slide projector, you could get a ghost slide and set up some kind of transparent film in the graveyard and project it on that, too.

also you should try working with lighting/ shadows. create shadows that no one wants to go near :)

Yes, Zombies are great, I bought about 6 of those scarecrows that every store sells and put them around the yard in various places, then bought 6 "Jason" Hockey masks and put them on them, they look good in the dark.....

i haven't seen anyone do scare crows :) that's pretty awesome!! i bet with the right lighting that would look awesome!!

I typically do a graveyard scene in the front yard. I like to mix it up though. Here is a pic from my setup last year. The fence, the hanging spiders, and the skeleton on the tree were all new last year...
