Pumpkin Man, I agree I think Blair Witch is one of the scarier movies I've ever seen; along with the first three Hellraisers.

Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown and Hocus Pocus get played a lot around my house during October.

I actualy liked "I Am Legend," but I will admit that I liked it more for the Bob Marley music in the sound track. It was the same story as "The Last Man on Earth," and the zombies were computer generated spfx. But I'm a Bob Marley FREAK. Good music can allways make an otherwise bad movie palletable.

I watch whatever Halloween specials are on TV.

I did not care for I AM LEGEND. It was so boring and didn't keep my attention. It has to be engaging and interesting for me to even look at it. I did watch the whole movie-YAWN! My husband wanted me to watch The Howling-another YAWN! He said it was a GREAT movie. I'm picky and a tough critic. I love all the Halloween movies except for the Rob Zombie one (that kid was trying too hard and sucked at acting) and Halloween III-it had absolutely NOTHING to do with Michael Myers! I was very annoyed

Oh and Hocus Pocus is very cute and my kids love that movie!

I totaly agree with you about "The Howling." I saw it in the theatres when it was first released, and I was expecting to see a great wearwolf movie, and I actualy ended up laughing myself sick at it. The whole thing was completely hokey. The story was hokey, the cinematography was done in a hokey way, the characters were hokey, the acting was beyond hokey, and I found myself laughing up a storm, AT the incredible hokeiness fo the whole thing, not with it like I would if it had been billed as a comedy. But I kid you not, "The Howling" was accidently the greatest horror/comedy I've ever seen in my life.

I wouldn't rent it but if it comes on cable I'd make time.

I think the scariest horror movie of all time is the original THE HOWLING! These wolves made me scary, and also, made me think twice about opening the door!

I would say this movie is very good, plus very scary! THE HOWLING PART 2: YOUR SISTER IS A WEREWOLF is pretty good, BUT not as really good as it is... It has Christopher Lee in part 2! He looked a bit older, but right now, he's getting older!

Well, I hope THE HOWLING will come on TV next week as it is still good for Halloween horror movie!

Andy, "The Howling" (no offence intendet to anyone who liked it) was LAUGHABLEY bad in every way. It was a dumb story, the acting was horible to the point that I couldn't stop laughing at that film. The whole theatre, in fact, was laughing at some of the farces in that film. I would say wait until it comes on cable, because it's not worth renting.

I know there are those who liked it, and I am not casting any dispersions on them, but I thought "The Howling" was THE hokeyest film that ever was perpatraited against the horror genra. Even those cheesy Sci Fi films from the 1950s were better.

The Howling wasn't great, but I've seen far cheesier. The transformation scenes were unique. I'll give it that. You can figure out the ending pretty quick into the movie though...

I started watching the 'Howling' but once it showed the nakedness scene I kind of lost interest and turned it off.. Then I tried watching 'Waxwork' but had to stop it cause I had to go somewhere haha.
