Halloween Discussion Forums, Costumes, Horror!

Loved the video!! I don't remember seeing it...One clown we haven't finished is a marionette...Not sure at this point if we can get her done, though!

Marionette is NOT getting done..too much trouble.
I will post pictures of the final product soon, as well as my two neighboring haunts.
Is anyone else as excited as I am?

Well, maybe not as excited, but looking forward to it, for sure. Unfortunately they are predicting rain on Halloween around here. If my kids were still TOTing, that would set me crazy. But I am determined just to be laid-back about it. I will costume and have my decorations up. If weather permits, I will take a stroll down the street at some point to see how other yard haunts are going.

It's supposed to rain Sunday, which stinks because we were going to go out of town shopping (and maybe catch some after Halloween deals, and visit Spirit Halloween...lol)
But Halloween day is only supposed to be partly cloudy here. I guess we'll see. I had concerns about the weather too Murf, considering that it's been mostly rainy around here. :/
I'm still going to dress up and make the most of it anyway. If it does rain, we'll mostly be inside anyway and probably watch a good horror flick (like that Tales of Halloween people have been talking about.) We don't get many Trick or Treaters anyway.
I'm going to help out at a Halloween carnival for the Y tomorrow, so that should be fun.
In the mean time I need to hit the books and get my homework done...especially that essay...which has become the bane of my existence...x.x (Seriously, I'm considering teaching Science now because I'm getting tired of writing )

big ol' freakin' winds today, and a little rain. I guess I should be happy that it is clearing out by tomorrow! We have some repairing to do..darn it!
Food is mostly done...I'm exhausted!
We had dress up at work Wed, Thurs, and it will continue for the next two days (which I am off)..here's a picture of me in my husbands costume

Our TOT forecast looks worse every time they give it. There will probably be serious rain by evening. Bummer. We will turn on our lights, light our pumpkins, and costume anyway. I would love to walk down the street to see other yard haunts if it isn't too wet.

Tonight I am making something called TOT Trifle. Chocolate cake topped with chocolate pudding, sprinkles of crushed Heath bars, and whipped cream/Cool Whip. It is easy to do, and fits in with the holiday.

I know! Halloween is essentially an outdoor holiday. It is a bummer to have to bring it inside, but what else can you do?

At least most of our activities are going to be indoor, considering how we live out in the boonies anyway.
But I am looking forward to the movie and having lots of goodies! lol

As long as there's no bugs that would be alright. lol

Well, we got a reprieve, so TOT happened after all. Hooray!
