    • Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition.

The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous.

Seems appropriate in lieu of recent developments.

Currently watching episode three of Special Unit 2.

Anyone here remember this old show? I loved it! The lead characters' chemistry was great and there were more monsters than you could shake a stake at. Sort of reminds me of Grimm.

'Independence day', duh!

Word on the sequels is Bill Pullman and Jeff Goldblum may be back but Will Smith is too expensive.

'Daytime TV'.

I took the day off and it amazes me what junk there is on tv during the day.

The zombie outbreak won't begin because of a virus, it will come from talk shows & infomercials.

This was inspired, Nevermore.

Our TV reception just up & died this summer. We are not on cable (too stubborn), and have never had reliable reception since The Great High Def Revolution, but a few weeks ago it just stopped altogether. But you know what? We aren't missing it that much. We have so many DVDs that we just pop one in and enjoy. We have seen the whole first season of Grimm and The Mentalist and are working through Person of Interest now. I also enjoy reading (currently a bio of George Washington), and I've been swimming about three times a week. Plenty to do.

The last weekend of June I took my sons up to NE Kentucky for a family reunion on the Ohio River. We stayed in a hotel that had about 40 channels in the room, I guess. Yet we couldn't find anything at all that we wanted to watch. Even my sons declared it hopeless.

Thanks. I love that movie. I meant to say 'in light of recent developments' but I guess it works the way I wrote it. Rather watch the movie than read the latest on the scandal.

TV? Pshaw! You can watch pretty much anything you want online. It's just a wee bit more work to find what you want. Most of the networks show the last five episodes of their shows for free. Might be able to find most of these in one place on regular Hulu for convenience sake. Hulu+, Amazon, and Netflix have small subscription fees. You can also subscribe to NFL and MLB feeds. Or, if you're morally skewed (cough, cough), you can find any show or movie made in the last century for free. Same with sports. Might want to sign up for a VPN service though.

I'm just waiting for Google Fiber to show up in town so I can cut the cord with the cable company completely. Then again, how long before we want to get away from that big brother? Especially in light of them sharing our info with the govment.

Actually, I'm watching it rain cats, dogs, bats, werewolves, and ogres outside! Sounds like the Titans are knocking each other around. It's raining like crazy!! Lots of flooding going on right now.

Bummer about the flooding. We might be there if the seas keep rising. Check this out. Shows what San Diego and some other west coast cities would look like if the water rises 25 feet. I've already bought galoshes. It's actually really overcast here right now, was sprinkling earlier. Rain is almost unheard of in summer SoCal. Dang scientists and their weather engineering!

Since it's a cool dark afternoon I think I'm gonna watch some scary movies. Maybe I'll start with Steel Magnolias.

You never know. A lot of conspiracy theorists thought the government was spying on their online activities. That turned out to be true. A lot of them also said the government was in contact with space aliens. That also turned out to be true. Or is it? You be the judge...
