Hello Folks:
It's been a very, VERY very long time since I was last here so I might as well reintroduce myself. I originally started posting here in 2010, then shortly after I retired from my job, things got really tough for a while. I don't want to turn this into a 'pity party," so I will just let you all know that it's great to be back. I was known originally as Pumpkin_Man, but apparently the site wouldn't let me use that user name any more, so I am now officially Pumpkin_Head.
I am very much looking forward to making up Halloween stories, sharing experiences, posting photos of creepy places when I can find them and participating in various Halloween.com activities. With October only being 4 months away, I already have a few party plans for my new home. At any rate, I'm retired now, and have time on my hands for more fun.

Hi,
Welcome back.

. If you know the email address for the old user I'd, I might be able to fix it.

That would be nice, but unfortunately I had 3 e-mail addys back then, and I honestly don't remember which one I was using for Halloween.com. Right now I only have one that I use on a regular basis which is my gmail account.
At any rate, Pumpkin_Head works fine for me now, and it was the title of one of my personal fav horror films of the 1980s.

Well I had a tough time of it, but I don't want to go into all the 'gory' details. Suffice it to say, I'm glad to be back and glad to be posting.

Hello this is Bluemtnspook from VA. I have been visiting this forum since the early 2000's and just
decided to finally join. I always start to long for Autumn and Halloween by early May somehow each year
and I will often visit. Now I can finally say hello.

Wait, I missed that thread? Sorry, I've been here for some time and forgot to introduce myself...
I'm Olivier from Belgium, and I live in Russia. Even in Europe, Hallowing is a thing - and it became a major one when I was a kid, more or less - but it isn't too popular where I live now due to, well, distrust towards everything American from a large part of the population (although this might change in the future, as many young people like everything Celtic). But that doesn't prevent my wife and I from enjoying this day! Since I don't have access to many ideas locally, and since there isn't too much data about it in French, I searched for Halloween stuff in English, and here I am.
I hope I'll be able, when the "great day" comes, to show you how Halloween can be celebrated far from its homeland!
