April is the polar opposite of October in the yearly cycle. Now that we're past April, Halloween can only creep closer. (I, however, have been counting down the days since November 1st)

It's been raining, cold and windy here for the passed 2 days and I am in full-on Halloween mode.

My 'mates are on vacation for a week so I have been scaring the be-jeez-es out of myself reading books on the paranormal and watching spooky movies.

I usualy don't start counting down the days untl Late August or early Sept, but I will have all my decorations up by the 1st of September.

If anyone is Jonesin' for a little fall color, I 'borrowed' this from somebody's online collection a while ago and it always soothes my seasonal withdrawals to look at it.

That's a nice photo. I love Spring and Summer, though, and while I do Halloween things during these times, I still enjoy a motorcycle ride, a swim in Lake Michigan, and a Summer barbecue. Right now it's Finals Week at the school where I work. This week is my last really busy week, and then it's 3 day weekends every week end until August. I am SO looking forward to a care free Summer and some wonderful 'haunted road trips.'

I'd like to know where that photo was taken. We get some fall color here, but nothing like that!

There are a lot of places around here that look like that in the fall with the colors and leaves and trees...gorgeous. Definitley my favorite season.
