That's a really good deal, I bought a 400wt fog machine thinking it would be okay I now have two foggers including the one I bought. I bought one from Menards a year ago and I don't know if it was the fogger or the juice but It took forever to heat up and didn't do so good. But the one I bought this year was excellent I made a chiller using ice, pvc piping and it worked great. So what do you think is it the fog or the juice that makes a great fogger?Spookymufu wrote:as I was wondering through the walmart Halloween isles I saw a 400watt mini fogger on the shelf, I priced it on the scanner.......$17 on sale down from $25.99

Any fog thick enough should reflect a projection, but it needs to be a fairly flat "surface" for anything to appear. As for a projector, it should be possible to use a flashlight with a cutout stuck to it. But it really requires the darkness to work properly.

Re: Walmart score
Halloweennut08,
it's both. Cheap, poor quality fog juice will make thin fog that dissipates quickly, good fog juice will make thicker fog that hangs longer. Dont confuse this with fast dissipating fog tho because they do make that also, but the cheap stuff does it as well.
A cheap no brand fogger like you might find in target, walmart, sprit, halloween express, might make poor fog as well some times. The heating element is what's rated 400 watt, 700 watt, 1000 watt etc, but cheap chinese foggers might say they are 400 watt but sometimes dont really meet that spec, it might only be 250 watt, or a 1000 watt might only be 600-800 watt. The higher the watt the hotter the element and the longer it can produce thick fog.I'm sure there is a lot more to them in regards to them making thick fog but thats the basics
