lol Too true
Wal-Mart is a political issue all it's own.

You're right, of course, but if I might be permitted to argue in our defense, I'd like to plead "Not Guilty by reason of tangentiality". You see, as any C-SPAN junkie will tell you, politics is addictive, like heroine or chocolate, and addiction is a disease, like Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma or American Idol, and Walmart does, in fact, sell cures for diseases mere yards away from their poorly stocked Halloween aisles. So while a political discussion may seem to be off topic, we are really only off on a closely related tangent. I humbly await your verdict.
This might also be a good time to mention that Vermont Sen. Patrick Leahy was, in fact, in The Dark Knight with Gary Oldman, who was also in JFK with Kevin Bacon. And I haven't any research to back this up, but I would imagine you can buy quite a few DVDs with Kevin Bacon in them at Walmart.
Submitted for your approval.

Re: Walmart Stores gypped on Decor?
went to Sam's Club last night for supplies and guess what.....no Halloween stuff at all, it was all gone but, there were a few isles of Christmas stuff. Went to Michaels as well and they are down to one half isle of 40% off Halloween stuff and about 3 isles of Christmas stuff.......sad sad. My 7yr old daughter says "Why is all the Christmas stuff up and it isnt even Halloween yet?"........

man i haven't been to sam's in months
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

Re: Walmart Stores gypped on Decor?
That's how it seems to be at most of the local Dollar General stores. The Halloween stuff is being pushed aside, none of the stores seem to be restocking anything, and it's almost all Christmas stuff for Holiday Decor.
The area where they usually keep the Halloween decor is filled brim to brim with Christmas stuff. Don't get me wrong...the Christmas selection is lovely. But c'mon...can't they stock that stuff AFTER Halloween? Seriously...
I'm finding a lot of people love Halloween in my area, including one of my class mates! In fact, there's many people who find Christmas overrated. I enjoy buying the presents though and decorating with the pretty decorations, but I want to enjoy Halloween first. Because it IS first. Once Halloween's over then I like to think about Christmas. Don't get me wrong, I already started saving Christmas money for presents because in this economy it's going to be hard enough as it is to afford things.

This probably seems crazy, crazy, a graveyard theory,

I visited Sam's this week as well. They have some great christmas stuff, but the Halloween section is definitely weak. I did however get a huge bag of candy for a good price, so no heavy complaints from me!
