For movies, it would have to be a tie between Michael Myers and Leatherface, but only in the originals of each movie. Each sequel gets less and less scary.

How about Jack Torrance from The Shining?
Oh Jack! Yes!
Creepy and leering and murderous...awesome.

I voted for Michael Myers from HALLOWEEN! :D Even the remakes too!

And also, for others.... I love vampire hunters in "FROM DUSK TILL DAWN" series. Of course, Leatherface is my favor classic movies! Leatherface's remakes are ok!

Zombies.... ummm.... "NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD" classic is great! The remake of 1990 is ok.... but I like 3-D! ;)

So what about ghosts, werewolves, witches and vampires???

Oh yeah the vamp hunters in From Dusk Till Dawn. Clooney and Tarantino were terrific in that.

I agree, NeverMore..those little creatures were furry, toothy fun!

Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

Yeah, Michael is my fave too! He never says anything so you never know what he's thinking or feeling and that is TERRIFYING!!! I don't relate to ANY killer in any way so there! :P The real killers like Ted Bundy, John Wayne Gacy, Jeffrey Dahmer are so scary as they are real. It's weird because you never know who is a killer just by outside appearances. It's a scary world we live in.

it really is a scary world. its even scarier to think that the REAL dangers are those who aren't of this world at all you know?

Very eerie, Adrian.

The other side is endlessly fascinating to me.

Then there are the beasts with very human faces.
Jeffery Dahmer worked in a candy factory!

I have to go with Myers too. I like the fact that he is a man that knows what he wants. He plans out his attacks and doesn't stop. But really, how does he catch EVERYONE without even breaking into a trot? He out walks even the most paniced teen!!!

I re-watched RZ's Halloween last night and I know what I dont like about it.

1. he gave MM a "personality", he let the MM actor "act". In the original MM didnt really have a personality or a soul and the actor was instructed not to act taking the "human" aspect out of the MM character.

2. RZ doesnt seem to embrace the suspense and surprise that the original had. There wasnt the spooky-ness the original had.

Obviously, like many of you here, my favorite is Michael Myers (surprise, surprise  ). I just think it is really neat that no one really knows why he is so crazed, and the fact that he doesn't talk and only walks makes him even more creepy. For God's sakes, the whole serious is based on Halloween day, what more could you ask for? I have always associated the movies with the holiday and always will. i really enjoy suspense as well and Michael uses that extremely well. The whole white mask, blank expression has always given me the "heeby geebies", and it frightened me so bad as a child. Not to mention the music in the movie is FANTASTIC.

And as far as relating to him in anyway, hopefully I don't because that would make me a psychotic killer . On a serious note, I don't see many similarities between Michael and myself because I am very friendly and social, and Myers is the exact opposite. :)
