Good question for me and iHaunt have been discussed about this information yesterday.
Is there any best age limit to scary TOT-ers and Halloween Lovers? Over the age of 10 and older? Or, should we contact the law enforcements to find out more details?
as far as i'm concerned... my yard is decorated in seperate "themes" where the more children friendly themes closer to the road. but the closer you get to my house the more hard * core the decorations become. that way if they want to come close they can

I don't know that there is a set age limit. I know that we have told our kids that at 13 they won't be allowed to do it anymore. At that point it will be parties and helping with deco, maybe doing a haunted trail type thing on our property. When my oldest turns 13 her sis will be 11 and bro will be 7. More than likely I will allow her to take them ToT'ing and more than likely she will sneak in some ToT *coughcoughjustlikehermomdidcoughcough*.
I think it's just one of those personal parent preference things.
yea it really is up to the 'rents' you know? that and the child themselves

i go by the average age of the kids in my neighborhood. there used to be a lot of younger children (my daughter was in that group), so i wouldn't do anything too scary. now that my daughter and the other kids are older (not many younger kids in my neighborhood anymore) i can spice up my decor and freak these kids out. they love it.
I'm 15 and although my Mum thinks I'm too old for ToTing she's letting me go, my brother's only 9, well, he'll be 10 by Halloween. I've seen people older than me ToTing so I don't think there's a set age around here

Personally, the age doesn't really matter to me as long at the TOTer comes to my house dressed up and showing Halloween spirit. Basically if the TOT looks like they actually care about Halloween, then they will get candy.
