Your first car?

So for those of you who are old enough to drive and have owned a car at least once in your life, what was your very first car like?
I can still remember my first car. It was a 1994 Geo Metro, it was green and had two doors, manual transmission, 3 Cylender Engine. I loved that car, it was my gift for Graduating highschool.
Great gas milage and everything.
But, like any car, I ran into a lot of problems with it. Like, I think the altenator or something when bad on it, I can't remember. All I remember was it wouldn't charge the battery. It started getting rusty and started leaning toward an oil burner.
I just saw a car on the Craig's list that looks just like it, and it reminded me of it. I know you have to be careful when shopping the Craig's list though.
I sold it, and was given a '92 Geo Tracker for getting my own Car Insurance, since I started off on my parent's car insurance. That was fun too, but once again ran into a lot of problems.
I ended up selling that and buying my currant car off my stepfather. So I've had three cars in my short life time. I need a new one because my currant car has a lot of problems.
Currantly I've got a 2000 Chevy metro. This one's significant to me as well because I passed my driving test in that car.
Yeah, I kind of been stuck in the Geo Metro line havn't I?
So as I look for a new car since the one I've got has so many problems, I like to reflect back on the first two vehecles I've had. Having a car is kind of like having a horse, but when it gets old you set them out to pasture so to speak. You get attached to them, at least I do. Sometimes it even feels like that car you have has a soul of it's own. Ok, so my car is no herbie or KITT, but it's got a lot of memories into it.
So, let's talk about your first car or even cars that have had some meaning to you!

My first old car was 1987 Oldsmobile, then in 1995 I had 1992 Taurus Ford... until 1996, I had 1989 Chyrsler, for only a year later in 1997 I had 1992 Pontaic Firebird and it was total loss in 2003. Again, I got another one 2000 Ford Windstar van.... well I gave it to my step brother in 2005 and I got 2005 Chevy Malibu, and still using it now and on.

Maybe I am going to get a new car next year in 2010.

My first car was a 1980 Ford Contour I totaled that car 2 months later. Then I had a 1970 Ford Mustang. The list goes on and on.
Gremlin- I don't remember who made this P.O.S. car.My dad's punishment for crashing 2 cars.

and now I drive a Dodge Durango 2003. My first "new" new car. I bought it in 2003 and it is paid for and I have only had to put tires on it so far. Over 120,000 miles on it!!!
All of these cars have been since Oct. 1988!

My first car was a burgundy 1989 Ford Taurus that my Dad bought for me at the auction. The engine blew 3 days later

The very first car I ever owned was 71 Datsun 1200. That car was a gift, and it was about as dependable as a timex watch with a broken spring. The very sirst car I bought myself was a 1969 Chevy Caprice. That car looked terible, but ran like a champ. I drove that car over 100 thousand miles before I sold it to a junk dealer.
