Marijuana inside the casket!

Arkansas man accused of using casket minus a cadaver to smuggle marjuana in Dallas, Texas.

06-26-2009 07:40 PM CDT

DALLAS (Associated Press) --
A casket minus a cadaver yielded nearly 100 pounds of marijuana after a traffic stop in Dallas. William Dale Crock of Cave City, Ark., was in jail Friday on a marijuana possession charge, plus traffic and seat belt violations. Dallas police say Crock was arrested Wednesday when bundles of marijuana were discovered under the casket's cover and pillow.

Sr. Cpl. Kevin Janse (JAP'-see) told said the van turned up during surveillance on a suspected drug house. Police stopped the van in Mesquito, after noticing Crock not wearing a seat belt. Officers also said he allegedly ran a red light and did an improper lane change.

A drug-sniffing dog alerted officers to the casket in the van.

The online records of the Lew Sterrett Justice Center has no listing for an attorney for Crock.

Ok, the problem is.... Marijuana banned?!?!

Why is it banned, and it a class B drug?

First off, I saw a website all about marijuana which is good.

Read this - http://www.drugpolicy.com/marijuana/factsmyths/

After reading this, I'm really confused as to why "weed" is banned over alcohol and in some cases cigarettes?

I think drugs should be legalized, especialy drugs like marijuana. Just look at what happened in Chicago during the prohibition era. Al Capone made millions and had a very powerful organization, and all because people wanted to drink, and were going to do so regardless of what the law said.

It's the same deal with marijuana. People who like to smoke pot are going to do so whether the say says they can or not. If drugs were legalized, it would take the power away from the criminal gangs who deal it. It might even create some new jobs for Americans.

I know it's illegal in some states of USA, but depends on your own doctor's prescription permission that you can smoke marijuana for some health reasons... also you can take some pills that are made out of weed plants! ;)

Well, I do smoke little pot myself, to make myself calm and make me feel better from arthris, body pain such as backache, joint injury, eye problems, etc. you know?

I smoked pot quite heavily when I was in my mid 20s, and I enjoyed it. I am not going to make any bones about it. I don't do it any more because the tar from the reefer is 15 times as bad as tar from cigarettes, and I risk losing everything.

Most states have laws against Marijuana, though, because there's a Federal ban on Marijuana. That does not mean that the individual states can't act independently and as far as I knowm California, Michigan and Washington are the only 3 where medical marijuana is leagal. I could be wrong, so don't take my word as "Gospel" on that.

I too agree that marijuana should be legalized. I also believe that alchohol and tobacco should be banned. Alcohol only causes problems, and is unhealthy. Tobacco is very unhealthy. I think the legalization of marijuana would balance out the need for alcohol and tobacco, therefore it is no longer needed. Marijuana is virtually harmless, except for sometimes it may cause cannabis or something. The legalization of marijuana would also help the economy a great deal. It would open up a whole new industry, and millions are being arrested because of it, so why not legalize it? It would solve many problems.

And another thing. I myself am not a user of marijuana. I just think it would help the economy a great deal.

Are you kidding me! I went to high school in the late 80's. Pot was all there was to do in my town. It was everywhere! Kids were growing it in their bedrooms under lights! You couldn't get busted if you smoked it with the cops in my town!

20 years later the majority of those who smoked it freely and frequently are still in their mom and dad's houses, still flipping burgers, still nowhere in that same small town, Or they have their own mibile meth buisness!!!

If it is legalized, there will be more brain dead kids still living with their parents. I teach school, Special Ed. , and I see the pot heads' kids come thru my classes year after year. It is a tragic circle of stupidity!!!

I do agree that it has some good qualities. I should be like other perscription medications. The criminal, punks will have it anyway.
