I always take those "best haunt" lists with a grain of salt. I think they're good for the haunt industry but don't help us regular visitors too much, especially if you don't live anywhere near the haunts they list.
Maybe we should all start talking more about our favorite haunts and the states that they're in. In other words, list where you're from in the subject list and then talk about the haunted houses in your area. That would make it easier for each of us to quickly find haunts close by.
Oh, and, since we're on the topic, I do enjoy Hauntworld's "best haunt" lists.
