Dry Ice - Warning!

I'd prefer just stick to a fog machine. Dry ice isn't the safest thing to keep laying around. Not that it'll last long.

And, the reason it is not 100% safe because since it is so cold, dry ice can cause severe frostbite and permanent skin damage, if you hold it in your hand.

They say it's not good to breath in either.

This should be in Halloween General.

I've thrown it in our pool before and it is always extremely entertaining.

what happens to dry ice in a pool?
The dark night beckons. Bear us your soul, it whispers. Expose your wicked delights. Join the rest of us on the wind. The dark night beckons and we answer. Sailing into the shadows.

That looks good! I bet your yard looked foggy and your pool looked like a portal to Hell!

Why didn't you show us a dry ice video? Not liquid whatever?

I wish I had a swimming pool and dry ice. :(

Yes, but whatever you do, handle it VERY carefully. It can really hurt your skin etc.

They look cool! Do they have glow in the dark dry ice? I've never seen it before.

Not glow in the dark...snap lites.

I came up with this by accident. I was decorating around a bubbling bowl of dry ice and dropped a glow stick in the bowl and, viola!, new technique!!!

You can add as many different colored sticks as you want because the bubbling keeps them in motion.

It looks best with an opaque bowl (PLASTIC not glass; glass shatters from the cold).

By the way, the 'small-pox' JOL is one I do every year.

All you do is scoop out the circles with both sizes of a melon-baller but try not to go all te way trough the flesh to make a lantern.

I had some 3D glasses right next to me!! Because a few days ago I was looking at the 3D pictures on the Night Of The Living Dead 3D website. That so called '3D' on that website is SO lame!! It does not even look 3D!!

But your 3D picture is awesome!! :D

Someone asked me a good question about this dry ice, and I really can't answer the question. Well, I thought I'd like to post a question for you to help me to answer for that person. Thanks. :D

The question is... How many pounds of dry ice does one need to have about three cauldrons produce fog outside for about five hours?
