Nancy Drew/The Hardy Boys
I loved the TV show, and 1 of the episodes of The Hardy Boys takes place in a Haunted Mansion around Halloween. All the episodes are great for this time of year, because they are all about mystery and suspense, and kind of spooky.
Did anyone else love the show?
I bought the first season on DVD.

Not the show, but the books! I grew up with Nancy Drew, and enjoyed them so much. They were 'thrillers" to me when I was young. I remember one scene in a cellar, in the total darkness, she was feeling her way around the room...used to creep me out every time, even after I knew what happened. I think that was in "The Mystery of Larspur Lane". Great to think about after all these years!

I didn't even know there was a show but I used to read Nancy Drew all the time as a kid. That was the first series of books I remember reading, I loved the mystery of them. After almost all of them I went on to the Goosebumps books, the I gave myself Goosebumps books sucked but I read them too, then R. L. Stein and after that Christopher Pike.
Now that I'm older I don't have time to sit and read a whole book in a day anymore so It would be great to see all my favorite books on tv.

The show was awesome, you can get it on DVD. It use to be on Sunday nights. It was called The Hardy Boys/ Nancy Drew Mysteries. The Hardy Boys starred Parker Stevenson and Shaun Cassidy and Nancy Drew was Pamela Sue Martin. It was so good. One week they would do an episode of The Hardy Boys the next week they would do Nancy Drew...and sometimes they guest starred on each others shows.
I love the episode where Nancy and her best friend George (a girl) go stay at her aunt's old farm house for the weekend...and hear things inside the walls of the house.
I highly recommend it, especially if you have pre teen to teen age kids, cause kids have nothing good on TV now, but we use to as kids, and thank fully they are releaseing so much to DVD.
