Tonight, I'm watching Vincent Price in HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL (1959)

Oh, a classic! Our disk wouldn't play last week . It's part of a whole set that no longer plays on either of our newer DVD players. Since they're the same brand, we're wondering if a different brand, or older machine, might work. It seems weird that the whole set of disks would go out at once.

Oh, I watched RB last week! Always a good one.

I saw that movie in theaters with my mother and aunt when it first came out. A few months later, the first movie ratings system came out, and it was rated R. I of course was underage for it, so I felt a little as if I'd done something naughty. Honestly, I was so innocent/ignorant back then that I don't think I even really understood the demon rape scene. I knew that people were naked, but that was about it.

This evening, I went for a long walk in Central Park followed by the annual pumpkin flotilla
