My wedding anniversary is Oct 24, one week before Halloween. We chose it simply because it coincided with my husband's military leave back then, but I have never been sorry to have an Oct anniversary.

I agree. An October wedding anniversary would be neat. So would an October birthday. I remember one time, in the 3rd grade, we had to write a theme about if we could or had to change when our birthdays were to fall, what month would we choose, and even back then, I chose October.
