I already screened the "The Great Pumpkin" twice so far, and I plan to screen it again after I get home from running errands. It's a cloudy, gloomy day here, so I will probably screen on the original 1932 "Frankenstein." Old Boris Karloff has not, to this very day, been out done on the portrayal of the Frankenstein Monster. Like Bela Lugosi, the archetypical Count Dracula, and Lon Chaney Jr, the Archetypical Werewolf, those images are cemented into the American imagination, probably for ever. Taking into account that all of those original Universal monster classics are going to be 100 years old when we get to the 2030s. And today's weather is the archetypical weather for an old fashioned monster movie.
