last night was our adult Halloween party at a friend's house on a big farm in the middle of nowhere (made the bonfire on a chilly night kinda creepy!), today we're taking the kids to "Halloween Nights" at a local family fun place, Grant's Farm. Keeping the Halloween fun going all weekend.
As far as pumpkins, even though we had fun at the patch last week, we actually bought our jack of lantern pumpkins at Aldi for $2.50 each(!!) They were good quality and size, too (I think around here in STL, we get most of our pumpkins from Illinois).
Don't judge the costume make up from last night, this was after several hours and a few Sam Adam's Oktoberfests

I have not seen the new Halloween movie yet but heard it was really good, I'm shocked but also glad it turned out good.

October is my favorite month. Here in Michigan, the trees are finally at their peak color!
