My brother's 11th birthday party is coming up. He's having a Halloween theme. Kids are going to come in their Halloween costumes. What are some fun games they can play?

However, things like bobbing for apples, piniatas (Spelling?), costume contests, karaoke, scavenger hunt with halloween themed objectives and candy (and other trinkets) as prizes would all be appropriate.

You can do a group participation Halloween story. One person starts, and then each person adds to the story when it's his ro her turn.

Pinatas are cool When I was a kid, I went to a Halloween party and one of the games was guessing how many pieces of candy corn was a jar. The person who came the closest won a prize. I think the trick with a Halloween birthday party is balancing it all out--you don't want your brother's birthday to get overshadowed, but at the same time, you want to maintain the Halloween theme. I like the idea of a scavenger hunt. Maybe you could show a scary movie while they eat cake?
