Those sound good...all of them!! Which one is 'Witches'??
They say that life's a carousel
Spinning fast, you've got to ride it well
The world is full of kings and queens
Who blind your eyes and steal your dreams
Its heaven and hell, oh well

I don't think I have seen that one...are you sure it was Cher? Wasn't there one with Anjelica Huston like that? My memory escapes me right now...

Anjelica Huston was in 'The Witches.'

I believe ramaries, must be talking about this movie. Children are turned into mice in it.

I remember that one though, it's good! Great choice! I liked the amazing playground the kid built for his mouse! It was awesome! :)

I don't mind gory but I have a strong preferrence for the superanatural. There has to be some sort of superanatural.
Straight up gory like, SAW, Texas Chainsaw are not appealing to me. Sadistic killers....don't do it, for me. (I feel like it's no different from any other killers. I can defend myself in a case like that.) I can watch the movie once but that's it. I don't own any movies like psycho, or Saw.
I prefer genres like, Blade, Underworld, Solomon kane, HP, Van helsing, Beowulf, mirrors, The Haunting, American Haunting, Husk, ect.

If it has magic, wizards, witches, spells , vamps, monsters and / or ghosts, I'm sold. The unknown, for me is, intriguing.

I'm not an overly big fan on gore either ramaries, although I do own the 'Saw' movies & 'TCM.' I can't watch those types of movies all the time though as they're really gorey. Infact I quite often look away tbh. I bought the 'Saws' as I liked the idea of the original.

I don't like it in-your-face all the time! People being stabbed like in 'Halloween' & the 'Screams' etc I don't mind so long as it's not people being ripped open in every scene!

I just bought some movies to add to my collection:

'The Amityville Horror' boxset collection, containing the original & remake. I've only ever seen the remake.
'The Wolfman.' I've seen it before & thought Hopkins & Del Toro were awesome!
'The Lost Boys.' Again i've seen it & love it!

I picked all three up on Amazon.co.uk for £10.77 in total! :D

10.77, total? That's a great buy, JS! I just purchased, trick r treat, mirrors n mirror mask.
I'm always adding to my Halloween movie collection. I always wait for bargains, though.
The gory doesn't bother me. I don't get squeamish or anything, its just not enticing to me.
I agree with you about the first saw but sequels of the same type of sh!t? Not interesting to me.
